| In 1974, ARAMARK managed its first conference center. Since then, the company has grown to operate a portfolio of more than 50 corporate, educational and resort hospitality properties nationally, plus dozens more overseas. Today, that first conference center—the then-new Xerox Documents University in Leesburg, Virginia—is still one of the properties we manage. Many organizations that have selected ARAMARK over the past three decades continue to be our clients today. With this acquisition, ARAMARK Harrison Lodging became the largest management company in the conference centers and collegiate hotels niche of the lodging industry. With the addition of ARAMARK Parks & Resorts, the portfolio expanded with extraordinary choices for business and leisure.
